Siliguri Mahila Mahavidyalaya’s Central Library, situated on the first floor of the Admin Block, boasts a wealth of resources tailored to the syllabus needs of its academic community. The library includes a stack room with barcode-based book arrangement and a well-furnished Reading Room for a comfortable study experience.

The Reading Room showcases magazines, periodicals, and a 'New Arrivals' section. There are two separate cubicles for teachers and students, a baggage counter for storing personal items, and the library uses an Open Access System for seamless browsing.

Library Facilities & Services include full automation via ILMS Koha and Internal Library Management Software. Books are barcoded, library cards are digital, and Web OPAC services ensure remote catalog access. High-speed internet and Wi-Fi are provided, and membership with N-LIST allows access to e-resources.

Additional services include subsidized reprography, scanned university papers, and special collections like biographies, Bengal History, and Atlases. The library organizes Orientation Programs, Book Fairs, Online Exhibitions, and receives guidance from the Library Sub-committee.

It supports community engagement through seminars, workshops, and offers personalized librarian support for citation, material search, and database use. Current holdings include 8,000 books with annual updates (except during COVID). Though pre-COVID e-journal subscriptions lapsed, the library continues to enrich academic and holistic development for all.
